What is paella?

Simply put it’s a rice dish from Spain with many combinations of meat & seafood cooked in a saffron stock
in a special round flat pan (called a paellera). However, paella is so much more than that.

and always brings family and friends together for any occasion.

I'm a classically trained chef and have been cooking for over 25 years here in the Bay Area.
PAELLA IS MY SPECIALTY. Don't be fooled by other caterers claiming they make paella.
Years ago I learned the art of making AUTHENTIC paella from a true paella chef from Spain.
We worked together for many years, and he shared with me his family's recipes
passed from generation to generation (recipes actually from his great grandmother).
I use only the FRESHEST ingredients in my paella which is cooked in a REAL saffron stock
(many other "paella" caterers do not use saffron,
OR make a fresh stock instead using powders or concentrates).
All of my tapas, salads, dressings, sauces, and desserts are all made from scratch.

Some caterers may cost a little less, however you get what you pay for,
and I PROMISE YOU WILL EXPERIENCE & TASTE THE DIFFERENCE.
Many other caters skimp on their portion sizes. My paellas are FULL of meats, seafood, and fresh vegetables.
I've NEVER run out of food at an event, and ALL leftovers are yours to keep (we'll pack everything up for you).

Paella is a GREAT idea, and truly creates a festive & fun experience compared to "regular" wedding food.

Paella Time is a FULL SERVICE caterer. We bring everything we need, including our GIANT paella pans,
and don't need electricity or a kitchen making us an easy solution for any venue.
If needed, we can provide tables, chairs, glassware, linens, etc... even LIVE flamenco entertainment!

Just let us know what your venue is providing, and we'll take care of the rest.
Many other caterers only bring the food, and leave you to figure out everything else.
